This one-of-a-kind creation exemplifies my signature 'Mixed-Media Pop' style, effortlessly merging graphic and fine art techniques to create a bold and captivating visual experience. The digitally designed artwork is the foundation of the piece, standing strong as a fully realized work of art in its own right. This particular iteration was printed on canvas and further enriched with hand-applied acrylic mediums, adding texture and dimension to the final composition. Titled Rockstar, the piece celebrates my daughter, Devin L. Hayden, and other young Black women like her, honoring their journey of authenticity and self-discovery. Adinkra symbols are thoughtfully woven into the design, telling a story of resilience, growth, and empowerment—both personal and collective. Whether experienced as a pure digital creation or as part of a mixed-media work, Rockstar encapsulates the strength and spirit of those who embrace their unique path in life.
